This is Day 11 of 30 Days To Your Best Year Ever.
Make sure that the relationships you're engaged in are truly transformational relationships.
Relationships that are going to help transform you as a person into a better one, and that are going to help transform your business into a better business.
You'll remember that in a previous video I talked about TAKERS, people who are only interested in getting out of a relationship what is of benefit to them, and as soon as they no longer see any benefit, or they get what the want they'll end the relationship. You need to avoid being in relationships like that.
Instead, you want to get into relationships with other givers and when two givers get together and work together huge transformations can take place, huge progress can be made in both your personal life and in your business.
Caution: Be careful that you're not just giving, giving, giving, as some people say, giving to a fault. That can be a problem, where you're spending all of your time and effort giving to others and it can actually end up exhausting you. So there has to be a balance.
But, you want to definitely find other people who can work with who are also givers like you so you can mutually help and benefit one another and that's going to help you to really transform yourself personally and your business too, and you'll see 10X the results when you work with other givers.
Another important point to remember is that when you work another giver, you're going to build trust and when there's trust then you're able to also engage in constructive conflict.
So, if you're working with another individual like you, who's willing to give to help that individual and they're willing to help and you start seeing great results, there are going to be times when you disagree on things, and that's okay, because when you have relationships based on trust, you can have conflict that's constructive, you can have disagreement with each other but it won't harm your relationship because it's a relationship based on mutual trust, respect and giving. And those are the kinds of relationships that are transformational.
So, whether you're a solopreneur in business for yourself you definitely want to find another person or other people who are like you, willing to give to help one another.
If you're in the sales industry, then within your company or organization or even outside of your organization, look for building that will help you to transform yourself into the best sales person that you can be.
And that's by finding other individuals within your organization or even outside, for instance, a good coach outside of your organization who can help you so that you can work together, giving to each other to help each other make progress.
So, develop transformational relationships, not transactional ones, and that's going to help you to achieve your best year ever!
